Advice needed for setup
Hi Everyone,Need some advices from pros here.
My tank is a 3.5 x 2 x 2 OHS with waterfall down effect as seen in pic.
My current temp for the main tank is 32 degrees to suit my discus, meaning to say, the top sump with is about the same temp.
I am thinking of changing my main tank into a decorative instead of plain, meaning to say put sudo sand, DWs and shoals of different tetras.
And for the top sump, I am thinking of changing it into a landscape with only shrimps.
The problem now is that the temp is too high for landscape and shrimps.
I am wondering if i add in a small chiller in the top sump to lower the temp in it, will it work?

Hi bro,
If you add a small chiller, it will probably be running 24/7 which is not very efficient and will cost you quite a bit in terms of electricity bill.. Why not consider getting a chiller of suitable size for you tank? That way, it will only kick in every 20-30mins or so.. you can still link it to your top sump.. Just my suggestion
